Domaine Confuron-Gindre Nuits-Saint-Georges is primarily sourced from dedicated parcels located on the northern side of the appellation, near the border of Vosne-Romanée, including the ”Aux Allots” and ”Bas de Combe” climates. This 2023 vintage is a blend of 100% Pinot Noir. The estate is managed with a traditional approach that incorporates approximately 20% whole-cluster fermentation to enhance freshness, and this vintage was crafted following the same meticulous care as the domaine’s Premier Crus. It was aged in French oak barrels (approximately 30% new) for 18 months.

The muscle and long finish are so beautiful. The 2023 is an especially energetic Nuits-Saint-Georges endowed with tons of richness as well as structure… Black/purplish fruit, lavender, graphite, sage and orange rind build into the substantial finish.
