The Yokohama BluEarth-Van All Season RY61 is Yokohama’s first dedicated commercial van tyre, featuring large centre tread blocks, 3D snow sipes and triple polymer compound with bead protector construction to deliver optimum balance of long tread wear, excellent durability, reliable all-season performance and fuel efficiency for transporters, cargo vans and light commercial vehicles
The Yokohama BluEarth-Van All Season RY61 is a purpose-built commercial tyre engineered specifically for the demanding requirements of vans, transporters and light commercial vehicles operating year-round in varied conditions. Released in 2021, the RY61 combines Yokohama’s BluEarth environmental technology with commercial-duty construction to deliver both economy and dependability. Large centre tread blocks create superior road contact whilst enhancing tread rigidity for improved dry performance and load-carrying capability. The advanced 3D snow sipes provide hundreds of biting edges for dependable grip in snowy and icy conditions, ensuring year-round usability. Triple wide and deep grooves work alongside straight grooves and centre zig-zag grooves to channel water and slush away from the contact patch, maintaining wet-weather grip and reducing aquaplaning risk. The triple polymer compound is designed to reduce rolling resistance for improved fuel efficiency whilst maintaining durability, and the optimised tread pattern forms a stable footprint that prevents irregular wear, significantly extending tread life. Bead protector construction prevents bead and casing wear, whilst anti-crack serration defends against sidewall cracking. Special bead filler construction further enhances strength and load-carrying capability. Multiple adaptive sipes enhance grip across all conditions. Suited to commercial operators, tradespeople, delivery drivers and fleet managers seeking maximum durability, long tread life, fuel economy and dependable all-season performance from vans and light commercial vehicles operating in demanding daily-use conditions
